This past weekend I found myself challenging Pete to name any UF men’s basketball players that are currently in the NBA (name player and team). As many as he could. Well, to his shame he couldn’t think of ONE, but I thought I could name four, maybe five!

Today I looked it up. It’s six, officially. Six active NBA players.

For your further information, as of this writing, these schools:

Florida 6
Florida State 3
Miami 2

So I guess that handles the ‘State Championship.’

Ohio State 2
Ohio University 0
DePauw 0
Tennessee 0

For the record, the wife checked into the Horns:

Texas 5.
Oklahoma 1.
A&M 1.

So what may be read into all of this data? Not much, apart from the usual (and obvious):
Tennessee sucks.
