Well, it’s been a loo-o-o-o-o-ng day. Almost 40 international media interviews, 90°F temperatures, a live TV appearance, a few key visits from personal friends, and countless well-wishes from the New York resident and tourist communities have left me beaten.

Geoff and Scott button up on Thursday night
We’ve set up night-camp and are about ready to pack it in. We went offline for quite a while, almost immediately after my CNBC live spot, because the rains arrived quickly and in earnest, chasing everyone to cover and umbrellas.
After the rains broke about 8pm, The Bride showed up with food and a pleasant group of companions from her school, who, after following the last days’ events on this site, were also big fans of the whole shindig.

Ke-wei, Mingdi, and Caryn are a welcome sight.
The most important aspect of this being the provisioning of food. Neither Geoff nor I had eaten anything of substance since last night’s pizza delivery (“to 58th and 5th”) and as usual, we reacted to the appearance of (my favorite Indian) Baluchi’s with distinctly unique responses..

The Bride provides for the famished and piteous.

Geoff really likes Indian food.
Last, but not least, we had our first celebrity iPhone junkie make an appearance (about 11:30p) in the form of manic genius Robin Williams. He chatted up several folks on the line, where he admitted to being a ‘Crackberry addict,’ particularly fond of ‘Aladdin’ among his works, and eventually leading his entourage into the Apple store itself for a late night purchase.
As you can see, I’m much taller.

Robin Williams mocks me for having my head cut off.
Good night, New York.
