iPhone: T-25 hours

Bit of a lull in the updates with the dead camera batter. Fortunately that Amazing Bride of Mine produced the charger unit and now, after a couple of hours with my ol’ pal ‘OJ,’ we’re back in the media-distribution business!

Speaking of, the frenzy here seemed to peak in the early afternoon hours, as I had the privilege of breaking in a new CNN crew, fronted by the lovely Lola Ogunnaike I’ve never had a production assistant, but I’ll admit that having Erica hold my umbrella for 15 minutes was exceptional.

I’ll be spending another two minutes of my personal 15 at about 6:30p ET, when I’ve been asked to be a guest on a CNBC show (I don’t know which). I’ll also be cameo’d on the very first intro spot n the 7p show that follows, doing my best Brooklyn Guy. My formal interview count is now at 35, all since 6:30a today! Amazing.

Meanwhile, the line seems to have edged upwards over the afternoon, and now stands in the 30s. I suspect we’re headed for a spike in the early PM here. Wish I’d kept stats.

Got a nice surprise visit from my friend Aaron Franklin, or as I know him, The Director of R and D.

And lastly, we received some unsolicited entertainment in the form of a South-American flute band, which has set up their bamboo-charged amplifiers about eight feet from my seat.

Yay.

The panflute feature act Agua Clara tunes up.

Saw your spot on CNBC – nice!!! Although I imagine The Bride didn’t care for the Olga bit ;)

All the hoopla makes our stint in the Star Wars line seem downright uneventful…
