Spinkles of rain foreshadow that things will NOT be pleasant for anyone involved in this event.

We finally found something to do that’s as engaging as the American Media…

John Lawton masters another skill.

As the gravy train keeps on rolling. John got his paddleball after we just received a visit from FAO Schwarz, the toy store directly adjacent to the Apple Store.

They hooked us up with balloons, games, and some reading. We’ve also been visited by the Krispy Kreme Fairy (maybe The Bride will believe me now that such a beautiful creature exists!) She’s on her way with food and my “Friday Bag,” which is basically a clean shirt, underwear and t-shirt for the stretch run.

Entertainment schwag from the Toy Soldier

The quality of the media has precipitously dropped since yesterday’s onslaught. Maybe the pro’s are just better prepared.

Geoff and I received a fun offer from the Globe and Mail reporter Ian, who’s been asked to script a piece for Monday about the social power of the iPhone. He wants to take us out to a bar tonight and observe as Geoff works iPhone-related pick up action on poor, unsuspecting New York women. The Bride will probably come, so it’s all good.

For those keeping score, Olga has left the line, her ‘friend’ ultimately did arrive. I guess it was just not meant to be.

Camera battery is filled again. Yay.

Gator Nation is everywhere.
