iPhone: T+3 hours

Ok.
I got the phone. Two of them, and have already given one to Pete.
Short story: I tried to run through the configuration in the plaza outside the Apple store, but failed due to network congestion.
I have a lot to share about the experience in the store and activating the phone, which I have done (albeit on a new number). I will have to transfer my current number over on Monday, as there was a problem with it despite the best efforts of a determined and useful administrative staff at ThoughtWorks.
First impressions: promising, including one astonishing surprise already. Seriously worried about my fat fingers (thumbs) and the keyboard, already. Will update shortly with photos and details.
More to come after I shower and eat- I’m home!
